AI Blog Builder: plan, create and grow a useful content library

A strong blog needs more than a text generator. It needs a repeatable way to find useful topics, turn knowledge into structured articles, review every detail, publish at the right time and keep the whole library connected.

GoGee's AI Blog Builder brings that workflow into one editorial workspace. Your team stays in control while AI helps with the time-consuming parts, from early research and drafting to images, metadata and internal-link opportunities.

AI Blog Builder, data flow, generated from the shared GoGee feature diagram template.

Start with topics that support the business

The keyword workspace helps a team collect search ideas, generate useful heading directions and build several article drafts from a planned list. Categories and tags then organise those articles into clear subjects instead of leaving every post isolated.

Category and tag pages can carry a primary keyword and related phrases. The hub coverage report shows which articles already support those subject pages, which relevant articles could add a link, and which hubs still have no keyword plan. That gives content planning a visible structure rather than a spreadsheet that goes stale.

Create from a prompt, a conversation, a recording or an existing page

Writers can begin with a blank page, a template, an AI prompt, pasted output from tools such as ChatGPT or Claude, a URL import, or a voice recording. Dictation is buffered and only transcribed when the writer chooses Complete, so unfinished speech is not pushed into the article as it is spoken.

Bulk creation turns a keyword list into multiple structured drafts, while the editor keeps the title as the single H1 and blocks extra H1 headings inside the body. AI suggestions remain proposals for a person to review, edit and approve.

  • Paste existing AI writing and convert it into editable article content
  • Bring an existing web page into the editorial workflow
  • Record first, then transcribe when the thought is complete
  • Create several draft articles from a planned keyword set

Create and manage imagery without losing the original

The image workspace can generate new images, refine or regenerate an existing choice, and apply a consistent style across a set. Every result is added to the image library and version history rather than overwriting the previous image.

Desktop and mobile covers have independent focal points, so an image can be framed for both wide screens and phones. Context-aware alt-text suggestions use the surrounding heading and caption, helping an editor describe what the image contributes to the article.

Build internal links around topics, not guesswork

The internal-link tools scan for opportunities and preview suggested anchors before anything changes. The open draft can also show context-matched destinations, including articles, categories and tags, but a link only enters the document after the author approves it.

Applied link batches are recorded so the team can compare engagement before and after. Separate reports identify strong pages, improving pages and orphans, while hub coverage shows whether important category and tag pages receive enough supporting links.

Check the page before it reaches a reader

The SEO view checks the heading outline, title, description, slug and image-alt coverage before save. Public pages use the same metadata source to produce canonical links, social previews and structured data, reducing the chance that the editor preview and published result disagree.

Article structured data includes the dates, author, topic, word count and a complete main-page reference. Category and tag pages use CollectionPage markup, and author pages use Person markup. These checks support sound implementation, while editorial accuracy remains the writer's responsibility.

Schedule a single article or a steady publishing queue

A finished draft can be scheduled for a specific date and time, or added to a drip queue that publishes the next approved article at a chosen interval. Publishing runs on the server, so nobody needs to leave a browser tab open.

When content also needs to move elsewhere, the export tool creates WordPress WXR files with categories, tags, status and featured-image information. GoGee JSON, Markdown and clean HTML formats are available for other workflows.

Questions we get asked

Does AI publish articles without approval?

No. AI creates drafts and suggestions. The author reviews the writing, images, links and SEO details before publishing or scheduling.

Can we bring in content we already have?

Yes. The editor supports pasted AI output, URL imports and bulk article imports, alongside normal writing and templates.

Can finished articles move to WordPress?

Yes. WordPress WXR export includes the article content, categories, tags, status and featured-image information for WordPress import.

Are internal links inserted automatically?

No. Scans and draft suggestions are previews. A reviewer accepts, edits or removes each suggestion before approved links are applied.
