How to Share Read-Only Meta Ad Account Access with GoGee Insights
Give GoGee Insights the reporting access needed for an assessment without allowing campaign edits, pixel use, billing changes or full account control.
GoGee Insights needs to read your Meta ad account's performance data for an assessment. It does not need permission to edit campaigns, use your pixels or control your account.
Before You Start
Open Meta Business Settings directly. Do not sign in through an unexpected email link. Confirm that you are working in the correct Business Portfolio and ad account.
1. Assign Net Age as a Partner
In Meta Business Settings, go to Accounts, then Ad accounts. Select the specific ad account you want assessed and choose Assign partners or the equivalent partner-sharing option.
Enter the Net Age Business Portfolio ID:
845962058804297
2. Grant Reporting-Only Access
Choose only View performance under Partial Access, or the lowest equivalent reporting role shown by Meta. It may also be called Analyst.
Before confirming, check that all of these remain off:
- Manage campaigns
- Manage ad account
- Billing or payment access
- Full control
Do not share your Page, pixel, dataset, catalogue, Instagram account, WhatsApp account or entire Business Portfolio. GoGee only needs the selected ad account.
3. What Happens Next
Net Age assigns the shared ad account to a protected system user. GoGee requests the reporting permissions it needs to read account configuration, campaign structure and performance metrics. These technical permissions are handled on our side. You do not need to create or send an access token.
GoGee can analyse the account, but it cannot create, edit, pause or publish campaigns. It cannot change billing or use assets you did not share.
4. Remove Access When You Choose
You remain in control. Return to Business Settings, open Partners, select Net Age and remove the shared ad account when the assessment is complete or whenever you want to end access.
Meta changes menu labels from time to time. Focus on the outcome: one selected ad account, reporting-only access and no editing or full-control permissions.
