Keyword research, rankings and paid data in one view

SEO and Google Ads usually look at the same keywords in different tools. Insights puts them in one view.

  • Discover

Find keyword ideas with search volume and cost-per-click estimates from Google's Keyword Planner.

  • Track rankings

Track where the client's site ranks organically on Google for chosen keywords.

  • Paid alongside organic

See which tracked keywords already spend in Google Ads, and where organic and paid overlap.

  • Groups and seasonality

Group keywords by theme and read seasonal demand by month.

Human-led

Keyword data shows demand. Choosing which keywords fit the business, and how to bid, is a human decision.

How we use it on client work

The steps our team follows, from data to decision.

  1. 1

    Gather search and competitor evidence

We look up search demand for the client's products and services and review public competitor activity.

  2. 2

    Compare against current campaigns

Findings are compared with the keywords and ads already running, to spot gaps and overlap.

  3. 3

    Turn findings into a shortlist

We prioritise a short list of opportunities worth testing, based on relevance and likely cost.

  4. 4

An analyst checks, a person decides

Findings are checked against the source platform by a Net Age analyst. Any change to a campaign or website is made by our team by hand. Insights itself never edits accounts.

Questions it helps us answer

  • What are people searching for when they look for these products or services?
  • Which relevant search terms are we not covering yet?
  • What are competitors visibly advertising?
  • Where do paid and organic search overlap?

What it means for clients

  • Better use of budget

Research helps us test the search terms most likely to be relevant before spending on them.

  • A shortlist, not a data dump

Findings are turned into a prioritised list of opportunities to test.

  • Public information only

Competitor research uses publicly visible information, such as public ad libraries.

Common questions

Are search volumes exact?

No. Search volumes and costs are estimates from the platforms, and are treated as a guide.

Can I sign up and use this myself?

No. GoGee Insights is a private beta used by the Net Age team on client work. Access is through becoming a Net Age client or an approved beta enquiry.

Does it make changes to my accounts?

No. Insights reads data. Any change to a campaign or website is made by a Net Age team member by hand, after review.
